"We have worked consistently to improve and enhance the support package for our franchisees and we are convinced we’ve got the best to offer in terms of training, support, marketing and brand name." - Sarah Robertson, TaxAssist Accountants
TaxAssist Accountants wins Silver Award at the BFA Franchisor of the Year Awards. Sarah Robertson, Business Development Director of TaxAssist Accountants received the award on behalf of the company from Brian Smart, Director General of the BFA, and Cathryn Hayes, Head of Franchising for HSBC Bank, at the gala luncheon at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London which was attended by Franchisors, franchisees and key business partners as well as representatives from the sponsors, the Daily Express and HSBC.
The theme of this year’s bfa award was “Now and then, five years on”, and required applicants to demonstrate how their business has developed over the past five years. Winning the Silver award at this prestigious bfa event confirms that TaxAssist Accountants is one of the major players in the white collar Franchise world and can be justifiably proud of the direction the company has taken.
Sarah comments, “We have worked consistently to improve and enhance the support package for our franchisees and we are convinced we’ve got the best to offer in terms of training, support, marketing and brand name. Each year the results get better and we’ll continue to strive for more – more franchisees, more clients and more initiatives to stay at the forefront of the accountancy profession."
Chief Executive Karl Sandall said “I am so proud that TaxAssist Accountants was nominated for this franchisor of the year award and winning Silver is a fantastic achievement. Our shop front concept which has produced a network of visible, accessible accountancy practices really is working in terms of increasing brand awareness, bringing in clients for our franchisees and increasing referrals from other businesses. The Directors and support staff will continue to work hard on behalf of our franchisees to deliver what they need in order to run efficient, progressive and most importantly profitable accountancy practices with the long term aim that they will become the one stop shop for small businesses.”
