Every day our 100-strong branch network provides drivers and distribution workers to a wide variety of customers ranging from international hauliers and major supermarket groups to builders merchants, multi-drop delivery companies and local authorities.

The UK market for temporary drivers is estimated to be worth over £2bn and is still growing. This is largely as a result of the high volume of goods being moved by road, the massive growth in home deliveries (on-line transactions now account for 15p in every £1 of retail spending) and customer demands for a flexible workforce solution. Just stand by the side of any busy road and note the volume and diversity of commercial vehicles, ranging from articulated trucks through to courier vans. Every single one is owned or operated by a current or potential customer of Driver Hire and at some time or another most of them will need a driver from us. You don’t need any previous experience in the transport or recruitment sectors to become a Driver Hire franchisee. Far more important is the self-motivation and desire to build a successful and profitable operation coupled with good sales and “people” skills and all-round business acumen. We provide you with full training in all aspects of our business and you’ll also enjoy lots of ongoing support both at national and local level. This includes marketing and promotions, corporate accounts,tele-appointing, IT (we have our own unique operational software) and business compliance.
